foxtab has taken over google chrome. how do i get rid of f

foxtab has taken over google chrome. how do i get rid of foxtab

Already Tried:
i have deleted the foxtab program, uninstalled chrome and re installed chrome with no success

Please click the wrench icon in the top-right of the web browser (directly under the "X" to close the window)

then select Tools --> Extensions.

Find Foxtab in the list, then click "Remove" to remove it from Chrome.

OK; once again, please go to the wrench in the top right. Select Tools --> Extensions. Find Foxtab in the list and remove it.

What was your previous home page? Or did you have no home page (just the New Tab page)?

OK; please click the wrench again and pick Options

Click next to On Startup, open the home page... if it isn't already selected.

Then next to home page, select 'Use the New Tab page"

Hi - I'm not understanding.

You can erase the home page box if you like.

Can you select 'New tab' next to Home page and see if that works for you? Thanks!

it still does not work

the option saved, but when i try to use the google chrome icon it loads foxtab

Please remove these extensions from Wrench --> Tools --> Extensions:

Search the Web1.5
Search the Web

Then close Google Chrome

Open it back up

And see if Foxtab remains; thank you.
