Bought a model C655D-S5200. Worked fine when we took it out

Bought a model C655D-S5200. Worked fine when we took it out of box. Turned it off. Next day the password XXXXX work.

No, I think it's a BIOS password.

I see, in this case only Toshiba can remove it and this was a known issue with there systems.

If you set this up, or not, you have to call Toshiba to send this in so they can remove it or replace the motherboard to get around it as this is stored on a chip on the motherboard itself.
