try the free download first > http://www.magix.com/us/free-download/
download and install and let me know
or use this link to download > http://download.cnet.com/MAGIX-Video-easy-HD/3000-13631_4-10969797.html?part=dl-6278266&subj=dl&tag=button
I have used the MAGIX DVD maker to get the videos off my camera and they will play with that program however I am unable to get those videos from my computer onto a disc via MAGIX hence my question
What is the cd/dvd burner program on your computer?
I assume microsoft...not a tech head
or by simple drag and drop you can copy the file to a blank disk
chk this > http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/help/videos/burn-a-cd
did that help..
I have draggd onto a blank disc however it will not open in either windows media player or VLC
no it will open with MAGIX DVD maker
VLC and media player doesn't support that file format
where is the file currently on the computer or DVD?
on the computer...if I want to give the DVD to another person how do they open it?
ok
insert a blank disk to the computer
just copy ( Ctrl + C ) the file and paste ( Ctrl +V ) on the blank DVD disk.
or you can drag and drop.
Let me know if you have any Question
okay dragged and dropped and it will play using MAGIX so I guess I need to give the other person the program I bought to load on their computer to view the disc?
yes you got that correct
MAGIX will only play the file.
this what you can do, download MAGIX installation file and save that to the same disk
you can download from http://download.cnet.com/MAGIX-Video-easy-HD/3000-13631_4-10969797.html?part=dl-6278266&subj=dl&tag=button
so the file <You Created> and MAGIX installation file will go the same disk
the other person and install MAGIX and open the file.
Let me know if you have any Question on the same.
