please let me know what is the error code you are getting on the computer or the printer
I have been trying for 2 days to get my printer on line. I did not find an error code. all it says is printer offline and I don't know how to change it to online. The copier part works and so does the fax and just can't get it to print my documents from the computer.
have you installed the drivers and software for the printer
yes I did that yesterday but it said it was already installed. I'm sure there is probably some easy solution but I just don't know what it is.

please let me know is the printer connected to computer via usb cable or through wireless
Would it be wise to uninstall the printer and then re-install it?

It is connected to a wireless
please click start..control panel...printers
over there right click on the printer and see if it shows use printer offline option as checked or unchecked
The off line is checked and I have been trying to uncheck it but can't
in that case we will have to reinstall the software
please open control panel..add\remove programs
once there locate the entry for the lanier printer
remove \uninstall it
once done restart the computer
once back on need to reload the drivers and software of the printer
you may install the drivers from the disc or may download and install from the below link
please ensure you select windows 7 as the opearting system
