were you able to send before?
did you change your location ?
i think your firewall is blocking the port 25.
are you using norton ?
is it paid version or free version ?
it seems it is blocking your 25th port.
can you start your computer in SAFE MODE ? (F8)
you will need to start your computer in:
SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING.

if you uninstall your AVG fully, can you reinstall it again?
probably avg is blocking your 25th port.
i just noticed that cmobile co za is down.
it must be a temporary problem.
are you able to access your emails from webmail ?
ok, please reinstall avg
can you uninstall your avg now fully. and then restart your computer. when you come back, please try to use your email program.
you will be able to send.
after doing this, please close your email program.
open your email program and try to send.
your avg should show you a confirmation box saying (xxxxx is trying to access .. etc)
do you see that confirmation box? you will need to ALLOW it
