Viet - Computer Tech :

Hi, and thanks for using JustAnswer.com.

Viet - Computer Tech :

Please try the following to remove the virus:

Viet - Computer Tech :

Please try this: turn off your computer. Then turn it on, and right after the black screen with white text or the computer company logo disappears, press & release key F8 repeatedly until a menu appears, then you select Safe Mode with Networking (note: if there is no menu, then try the same steps again, but this time, press key F8 a bit earlier). Then login and click Start->all programs->accessories->system tools->system restore and restore the computer to any date before this issue has occurred.

Next, please go to Safe Mode with Networking again, then click below and click on Download Now, to download and install the Malwarebytes Anti-malware software. Then scan your computer:

Viet - Computer Tech :

Please let me know if there is still any issue later. Thank you.

Customer :

I have already run malwarebytes and it didn't work. But I will try it again from safemode with networking.

Viet - Computer Tech :

Please try a system restore first if you have not tried.

Viet - Computer Tech :

ok, please try in safe mode with network (click on the Update tab in Malwarebytes first to udpate, then scan).

Customer :

Right... so how do i get back to here to inform you of whether this actually worked?

Viet - Computer Tech :

You can bookmark this web page to get back to me later.

Customer :

Done... BRB

Viet - Computer Tech :

ok, thanks.

Customer :

Malwarebyte & AVG together did not clean up the nginx virus. AVG seems to be infected and can not be restore. While attempting to update Malwarebytes and AVG, the windows Local Area Connect lost the IP address and I could not reply last night. I

Customer :

I just got my local area connection working by resetting windows to a prior setting. Thus far you suggestion has not had the desired results.

Viet - Computer Tech :

Sorry about that; can you go to Safe Mode with Networking again and try to scan with Malwarebytes?
