  1. If IPad is unable to send email

In Settings, turn on other SMTP servers

    1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and under Accounts, tap the account from which you're trying to send email:

    Tap account
  2. Scroll down to Outgoing Mail Server and tap the box that says SMTP:
    Tap SMTP
  3. Turn on all other SMTP Servers.
    Turn on SMTP servers
  1. Add your email account on IPad instead of syncing your mail settings from your computer

    1. In iTunes, select IPad in the source list on the left, under Devices.
    2. Select the Info tab.
    3. If selected, deselect Sync Mail Accounts.
    4. Click Apply.
    5. Disconnect IPad after it has finished syncing. On IPad, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and under accounts, tap Add Account.

    Tap Add Account
    1. Follow the instructions. When you enter your email address, IPad will look up your service provider's settings for you. If IPad can't find your service provider's settings, you can enter them directly.

Turn IPad off and then on again

To turn IPad off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears, then drag the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
