Let me know when you're ready to start this chat.
Thanks - Do you have an antivirus program you use on the computer like Norton McAfee, or other (please specify)?
Ok thanksSometimes McAfee can miss specialized malware called adware. This is what you're seeing. To remove it, get the free Antimalwarebytes program, click here: http://tinyurl.com/3z3gwrf Don't click anything on that page, a download prompt will come up automatically, then run the setup file.Once installed, open Antimalwarebytes, and do a full scan, and remove any infections.
sorry about spelling McAfee
Add this page to your Favorites or Bookmarks to return to this chat and let me know how that went for you.
You'll need to restart the computer at some point, so that's how you can get back to me

I see, the link.Try this one: DANGEROUS URL REMOVED
Actually, don't try that one
That's strange that you're not able to click links, try this
Open a separate browser window and in the address bar
And press enter, and see if it will let you to that page (or you can just left click and highlight this, right click copy:http://en.kioskea.net/download/download-105-malwarebytes-anti-malware
Right click paste it in the address bar of another window, then press enter on the keyboard
Already tried this site yesterday and didn't solve the problem
You have to download the program and install it, then use it to scan your computer
I know, that's what I did and then uninstalled it when it didn't work
Hmm...that's not good, because if that doesn't work - then almost nothing else will. When did this issue first start?
About a week ago, mostly on the left side of screen and sometimes flashes so much I have to refresh page
Alright, and this is on all webpages?
sorry, I'll try to figure out something else
I have more suggestions
There are many things we could try
I'm just trying to figure out which one I want to show you
Does this happen on all webpages?
Can get in to sites but can't interact ie musescore, can open page and select piece but can't open it and as soon a I move the mouse it disappears
Oh, I see, then that sounds more like browser problems, or outdated flash. This is just one site?
No on several
What is musescore
And are you using IE? I'll have some further steps here shortly
This computer is just a couple mths old. It's a music notation and playback program My site is http:/musescore.org/user/1981
Don't know what IE is
Thanks - I see the site
It's Internet Explorer, it's a big blue E icon you double click to get to the internet
Are you able to play the sheetmusic
It looks like a program you must install first
I guess It is an e in a box with a ring hanging on it.
I'd like you to try these steps:
Go to firefox.com
And look for the green download button on that page, download and install the Firefox browser
Then use it to go to the musecore site
Great, take your time, I'll be here, and thanks for your patience
Seems to have worked, thanks
