I have an SBCGlobal.net e-mail account, but the POP3 and SMTP

Resolved Question:

I have an SBCGlobal.net e-mail account, but the POP3 and SMTP server settings are not working - what is the correct SSL settings for incoming and outgoing servers??

My server port numbers are correct - still getting an error message when testing the account that incoming and outgoing servers do not recognize my settings?

server name or port is being cited in the error message for both in and out...

Ok, add your email account once again, making sure to use the correct settings as follows:

Incoming (POP): pop.att.yahoo.com
Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.att.yahoo.com (requires authentication)
Incoming mail server type: POP3
Incoming/Outgoing User Name: Full email address, including domain (e.g.XXX@XXXXXX.XXX)
Incoming mail port #: 995, secure connection (SSL) checked
Outgoing mail port # XXXXX secure connection (SSL) checked

Done that, select 'Always use this profile: <your newly created profile>', and click Ok.

Done that, re-open Outlook, and let me know how you get on.
