Please try this: click on Start, and type regedit and press Enter.
You should see the two keys HotKeyCmds and AsusACPIServer on the right.
Right Click on the right.New> String ValueEnter "HotKeyCmds" (without quotation)Hit "Enter"Right Click "HotKeyCmds"Select "Modify"Enter "C:\WINDOWS\system32\hkcmd.exe" (without qoutations)
Do similar for AsusACPIServer is the same steps except:
AsusACPIServer in place of HotKeyCmdsandC:\Program Files\Asus\EeePC ACPI\AsAcpiSvr.exe for the "Value Data"
