I couldn't launch mozilla firefox safemode directly from my "usual" desktop, so I rebooted, hit F8, and opened up SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. Proceeded to play around with FIRE FOX and ended up eventually (just as before) with THIS message:

Sorry, Request-URI Too Large.
The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server.
request failed: URI too long
Please check the URL for proper spelling and capitalization. If you're having trouble locating a destination on Yahoo!, try visiting the Yahoo! home page or look through a list of Yahoo!'s online services. Also, you may find what you're looking for if you try searching below.

My so-called "problem" seemingly having to do with YAHOO............ has gone from bad to WORSE.
I've tried your suggestions, even running a full virus, malware & spyware on my computer from SAFE MODE............. nada.
I don't want to be difficult, but I had hoped we could resolve this.
At this point, We need to TALK on the PHONE.
Let me know who we can accomplish this, ok?
