Outlook Express is a very old email client that can become corrupted very easily, I would suggest updating it to the newest version called Windows Live Mail, which is a free update from the Microsoft website. I can help you get all your data over to the new program and install it, that should get your mail up and running again shortly. Would that be ok?

Ok let try to create an identity in Outlook Express:

Click on the File menu and highlight "Identities." Click "Add New Identity."


Add the name of your identity and whether you want to require a password. If you don't want anyone else to gain access to your email, you should check the password XXXXX and create a password. Just don't forget what the password XXXXX

Select "OK." The identity window will ask if you want to switch to the new identity. Click "Yes."
Log on as the new user. You will be asked to provide information about your Internet connection. If you don't know this information please let me know. Then see if you can send/recieve from your Comcast account.
