Hi, I'm Bernie and I'll be the technician helping you today. Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

What version of Microsoft Windows you are using?

Windows XP has a green rectangle that says Start in the lower left corner of the screen.

If the button is round, click it, then right click computer and select properties. It will tell you if you have Windows Vista or 7 there. Please tell me.

I'll stand by for your reply.

Thanks

If you are using XP:

Click Start >> Run >> Type msinfo32 >> Press ok

In the system summary, look next to the BIOS version/date entry, it will tell you the age of the computer there

If you are using Vista/7:

Click the Windows Logo button >> Type msinfo32 >> Press enter on the keyboard

In the system summary, look next to the BIOS version/date entry, it will tell you the age of the computer there
