i have norton 360 and i want to install it on my new laptop but wont let me

Or is this an older version you had installed on another computer?
no had it since about 2008
Okay in that case it would have expired
I would suggest using one of the free suites out there
Microsoft Security Essentials is a great choice
It uses less resources, does the same job and costs no money.
just renewed it in january
Do you have the renewal email Norton sent you ?
no just product key
You will need the email because it would of had the new activation key
If you don't have it you will need to contact Norton and have it resent
