Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I look forward to assisting you with this and providing you with the information you need. Can you please tell me if you are, perhaps, using a laptop?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

yes I am using a Dell Laptop

OK - I am hoping that this simple fix will work for you.

This is most likely caused by your palms/hands/static/warmth causing it to jump around, but thankfully there is a program called Touchfreeze that will freeze the touchpad while you are typing, which should greatly reduce this issue.

You may download it on this page (the link in the green box):

Please download and install it... It will run in the background and you'll forget it is even running as it doesn't affect your PC's performance at all.

Try it out and let me know if it works. Thanks.

I am afraid to run this programme it keeps warning me problems
Expert:  Frederick S. replied 5 years ago.
I am not sure what you're talking about; sorry. It's from Google Code, which would never host any program that is malicious. If you have a program that is complaining about the safety/validity of the download, please ignore it. It's a small, simple program that will solve your problem. I am quite confident in that; thank you.
