Make sure that Internet Explorer security default level is set to Medium. This level allows viewing ActiveX controls, such as Flash Player. To set browser security to Medium, perform the following steps:

Open Internet Explorer.
Choose Tools > Internet Options.
Select the Security tab.
Select Trusted Sites zone.
Select the Default Level button. (If the Default Level button is dimmed, continue to the next step).
Move the slider until the security level is Medium.
Select Apply.
Select the Internet zone.
Repeat steps 5 - 7. When done, select OK.
