To do a system recovery, turn off the computer. Then turn it on and press at the key F11 (or could be F10) when the first screen/hp logo appears.

Sorry, you need the windows / recovery disk to repair/reinstall windows as windows is corrupted.
ok well i restarted to labtop and it ran throught startup repair...it says windows can not repair this computer automatically i click on View advanced options for system recovery and support and it aks for keyboard inpit method i click us, now it is at system recovery options it says Username: HomeGroupUser$?/ Guest
If you can use the recovery method to reinstall windows, then just follow its directions
than passord i dont know what the password is.... is it some facorty one or what

you probably have set it when you first got the computer but forgot
no it asked me if i wanted to but never did
my wife has a computer just like my but a few years older than mine and i had to do a system restore on it last week cause she crashed last month and i did not have to make a password for it
