I get this background radio talkshow (actually there are two going on at the same time) that goes on all the time on my laptop. How do I remove this?

Are you using normal computer speakers, or are you possibly using speakers that have a wireless antenna?

Customer replied827 days and 5 hours ago.

I haven't done anything to my laptop so I think I am using normal computer speakers.

OK it seems like there is a program starting with your laptop that is running in the background playing the radio station.

What version of Windows are you using on the laptop?

Customer replied827 days and 5 hours ago.

Windows Vista

OK click on Start, the Windows icon in the lower left corner, then type in msconfig and hit enter.

The System Configuration window will open. Click on the Startup tab.

Once there click on the Disable All button then click on Apply then click on OK.

Now restart the computer and see if the radio shows have stopped playing.

I followed the instructions and it worked temporarily. Now I go in a manually remove whichever sound happens to be on . It starts with one radio station and there were 3 going on at the same time this morning. Now I just keep the sound off but it's inconvenient to be listening to something and suddenly have this radio talk or commercial come on.

Any other ideas?

Allen
