Hello, My name is XXX XXX I will assist you in finding an answer to your question.
Restart the computer and start tapping the F8 key repeatedly. This should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu. Choose the Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter.
trying now
Nothing happening on the screen, but I know it's on.

Still have a blank screen after pressing F8 repeatedly, so can't see an Advanced Boot menu.
Do you see anything while the computer first comes on?
Not this time - it was black the whole time.
Does the monitor Power LED come on and dim back as though the monitor is off?
It did earlier
Then you need to check your memory to make sure it is not bad. I would remove all but one stick of RAM and run a diagnostics on the RAM to see if it is bad
I guess this is the part where I take it to someone then.
It is easy to do
