Hi, I have an alienware ( aurora 2) computer with a realtek

Hi,
I have an alienware ( aurora 2) computer with a realtek audio board. I recently bought a Bose Companion 3 speaker system and I cannot hook them up. I've tried two different adapters and apparently I'm not on the right track. There are 6 places to plug into on this audio-- multi colored. The bose is a single mini jack. What the heck do I need? Thanks for any help,

Greetings.

Plug the one cord from Bose into the green jack on the computer. You might need a adapter to make it fit but it sounds like you already have it.

It should start playing out of the speakers now (make sure they are plugged in)
