Hi, I'm Bernie and I'll be the technician helping you today. Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Please reinstall the Splendid utility to fix this problem, software can be found from the support CD that came with your asus, or I can post the exact driver here for you to download. To do that:

Can you tell me the make and model of your computer?

1. Click the Windows Logo button (Bottom left of screen)
2. Type system in the search box
3. Select system from the search results
4. Please find your manufacturer and model and post that in your next reply

I'll stand by for your reply.

Thanks

Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX to get back to you sooner I apologize, I wasn't able to log on until later this morning.

What version of Microsoft Windows you are using?

Windows XP has a green rectangle that says Start in the lower left corner of the screen.

If the button is round, click it, then right click computer and select properties. It will tell you if you have Windows Vista or 7 there. Please tell me.

One last thing:

Is your Windows is 32 or 64 bit?

1. Click the Windows Logo button (Bottom left of screen)
2. Type system in the search box
3. Select system from the search results
4. Please find your Windows Edition and System Type (32 or 64 bit) and post that in your next reply

Great, download the zip folder here:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/47rbu6hre1g6h19/Splendid_WIN7_32_WIN7_64_1020028.zip

Click the file listed on that page to download the zip file to your computer. Then right click the folder after it has downloaded and select extract all > extract. It will then show the extracted folder, inside double click setup to begin the installation.

Then restart your computer and you shouldn't get the acmon error anymore.
