Welcome to JustAnswer.comMy name isXXXXX am one of the experts who will assist you today! At any point.. when you power on the computer, can you get the cursor to move at all?
no
Ok, thanks.. Are you using the touchpad.. Or do you have an external mouse ?
touchpad but it does'nt seem to be working
Ok.. thanks.. Do you happen to have any external mouses we could use.. USb mouses.. Anythinng so we can move the cursor to enable the touchpad again? If not.. You could try pressing and holding the fn key, and tapping f4 , f5 ,, f6 o f7 The f key.. should have a picture of the touchpad, and maybe a finger pointing to it.. Try those keys, see if that enables the touchpad, and if not.. We may need a external mouse to re enable the touchpad.
i cannot see an fkey with a picture of a keypad, i dont think you are going to be able to resolve my problem and i do not have an external mouse only the one i'm useing on my desktop computer i've already tried that and the mouse does not operate on the laptop
OK.. lets try this then.. Even if you dont see the mousepad on the f keys.. do you see some blank f keys around the F 4 area? If so.. I want to hold the fn key down.. And then, tap the blank F keys, one at a time. then try moving your cursor.. Any progress with that? if not, let me know.
