windows life mail could not bev started. It may not be installed correctly. Make sure that your disk is not full or that you are not out of memory. (0x80041161) is the message I get when starting up mail

Also, unfortunately "unable to send or receive messages for teh Hughes (scri) account, the connection to the server has failed. Also can't get on internet on other computer. Think Hughes is not working at the moment!

i understood. if there is no internet connection, you cannot connect to hughes. in other words, you need an active internet connection to be able to send/receive emails.

Jerry -- I am back and the internet is back up. I changed the setting as you indicated using mail.hughes.net.cust.b.hostedemail.com and got the same TCP/IP error message as before.
