I cannot log into Skype because it says that I am already logged

Resolved Question:

I cannot log into Skype because it says that I am already logged in on this computer. I only use Skype on this computer. It suggests that I sign out and start again. I don't know how to sign out. No options for signing out appear.

Hi, and thanks for using JustAnswer.

Please open up the Skype window first, then click on the 'Skype' tab at the top. Click on 'Log out'; this will log out of the current Skype account, and let you login to your account once again.

Yes, it is gray, saying that I am not logged in. But when I click on my desktop trying to get in, it says I can't because I am logged in. What gives?

Okay, now, please press Ctrl + Alt + Del in order to bring up the Task Manager, then click on the Processes tab. How many 'Skype.exe' processes are listed there?

Long list there. Under Skype.exe line I see 145,536 K
