I am receiving error message 0x800420C8 in Outlook Express

Resolved Question:

I am receiving error message 0x800420C8 in Outlook Express (my computer runs on WIN XP) when I try to send any emails
I just noticed the sent file is very full (over 10,000 emails)
how can i resolve asap? Many thanks

only the last few today

the sent or outbox?

few in sent and there are two in outbox waiting to go out

with outlook open, can you move the ones from your outbox to the drafts folder

just drag them to the drafts folder

3. Search for the Outbox.dbx file.
4. Right-click the file, click Delete, and then click Yes.
5. Start Outlook Express, and then try to send a message.

it could be that they are corrupt as well

so I would try creating a new one

copy the text from one of them and past into the new email and send
