Customer Question

Hello Gmail Tech Support,

Please help. My gmail was compromised and I sent in the issue through the gmail site 2 days ago but no response from you folks yet.

I tried changing my password, but the I could not answer the private question. Who was my first teacher? I put in my first teacher, but it did not accept it. I usually pick, Which city was I born in?

I cannot access XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX address, so please contact me XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX.

I really appreciate your help. I 'm in the process of applying for a new job and I cannot access any of their emails.

Thank you.

Rollie Perea

Hello. I can assist you with your question.

Please don't put any personal information in these messages as they are not private.

So you understand, we are not affiliated with Google or Gmail in any way. We are an independent paid support site. If you are aware of that and would like me to assist you, I would be happy to. Just let me know.

Customer replied 818 days and 12 hours ago.

Hey Mike,

If you can help me I would be glad to pay you. There is only 2 things I'm looking for to be satisfied.

-Access my gmail emails

-having a new gmail password

I've already tried the steps recommended by gmail, but no results thus far. I'm stuck.

I'm not very computer savvy, so help me out please.

If I am not satisfied, how do I know that you have cancelled the transaction.

Thanks

Rollie

You would have to click accept to release the funds on deposit. If you don't you can just request a refund from customer service. I usually do that automatically if we end up where I think you should get a refund anyway, but you can also request it on your own.

So, I'm assuming that you don't have a secondary email set up with gmail for the password XXXXX to be sent to you. Is that correct?

If you are getting to the questions and they are not questions you recognize, that usually means that you have put in the user name incorrectly. It will choose random questions even if you put in an email address that doesn't exist. So I have a couple of questions.

Do you know whether you did set up security questions for gMail?

Are you using your full email address as your username?

Customer replied 818 days and 11 hours ago.

Hey Mike,

I very much trust you Mike.

Yes, I do have a secondary email in aol which I informed gmail. I just checked a few minutes prior to talking with you and no response.

I do not recall agreeing to selecting the question for Gmail.

I use my full gmail address

Here is something that you may not have tried yet because it's not very public. It's called the "account recovery exam". If you can verify your identity by answering enough questions, it will allow you access.

If you search your other email account for messages from google or gmail, there should be an original verification code in there from when you opened the Gmail account. If you still have this, it is one of the things that can be used here. Please give it a try and let me know.

Customer replied 818 days and 11 hours ago.

Hey Mike,

I tried this site several times already.

I'll try the 2nd option now

So you have already done the "account recovery exam"?

Customer replied 818 days and 11 hours ago.

Yes, Mike. I already completed the account recovery exam. 2-3 times in fact.

I tried accessing the old gmail verification form aol, but I found nothing. I did a search and it came back empty.

Do you have your cell phone set up in Gmail, and if so, have you tried that recovery option?

Customer replied 818 days and 11 hours ago.

No Mike, I did not set up my phone with gmail. Just my email.

OK. I know you have been to this page before, but you can try it again, this time with just your gmail username and not the @gmail.com?

I see that you neither responded to nor accepted my answer after reading it. Have I answered your question, or do you need additional information? If the information I provided was helpful, please click accept - it is the only way I will be paid for my time. If I have not been helpful to you, please let me know what more I can do. It is my goal to make your experience here a good one.
