Hi, and thanks for using JustAnswer.

In IE, please go to Tools > Manage Add-ons; is there any reference to 'Shockwave Flash Object' listed?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Status Enabled
File date Yesterday, January 03, 2011, 2:02 PM

Okay. First off, please download and run the standalone installer of the latest version of Flash Player using the given link, as follows:
http://tinyurl.com/544drw

Does this resolve your issue all right?

If it doesn't, in Internet Explorer, please go to Tools > Manage Add-ons, then enable the 'shockwave flash object' add-on, if disabled. Done that, check if this resolves the issue all right; keep me posted.

do i need to delete the the flas i have now before installing the one you sent?
Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
It would be advisable to do so, using the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller to remove Flash Player first:

Keep me posted.

I have nothing running what do i do?

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Did you run the Uninstaller program first?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
yes will try again? i do not show fash in my programs just reader
Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
That will not show up in your Programs, as it's an ActiveX Control. Now, could you try closing all of your browser windows now, and reinstall Flash Player thereafter?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
i uninstalled restarted then installed and restarted it did not fix the problem????
Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Now, could you make a note of the exact message you are getting when trying to reinstall Flash Player?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Now, in Internet Explorer, please go to Tools > Manage Add-ons, then enable the 'shockwave flash object' add-on, if disabled.

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
it is enabled
Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Hmm. Now, do this: in IE, go to Tools > Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab; do you see a Reset button present?

If so, click on that, then click on Reset one more time in the confirmation prompt that comes up. Check if this resolves your issue with the browser itself.

Keep me posted.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Hmm; now, could you make a note of the exact reference you are getting about Flash Player, and let me know?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Okay, I'm waiting.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
i took a picture of it on my phone what is an email i can send it to?
Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Well, that's not needed; I assume the window prompts you to install Flash Player?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

yes then what did you need me t send you?

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Just the exact wording in the error window. Now - as a test - please download an alternate web browser, Mozilla Firefox, using the following link:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.6.12&os=win&lang=en-US

Run and install the browser, then check if the issue with accessing Flash content persists in this browser as well.

Done that, let me know accordingly.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Hmm. Well, would you like to keep using that browser instead?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
Now, were you able to reset IE earlier, as directed, or did you face any error while doing so?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
All right. Now, please go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, then look for and uncheck the 'Enable third-party browser extensions' option listed.

Done that, click Apply > Ok, then restart IE; does this make any difference to your issue?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

Expert:  Barun replied 6 years ago.
