howdy
you need to start some services in order for the firewall to work
do the following
ok
1. go to START and type services.msc in the search box
2. click on it in the result pane
3. double click NETWORK CONNECTIONS and set its startup type to MANUAL
it is
ok click START to start the service
stop is highlited andcannot get response from manual
is the START button enabled?
if so, press it
no
what is the service status?
do not know where do I look
on the same window which appeared after you double clicked NETWORK CONNECTIONS
I see --started
now close this and again, in the services boxes, look for Windows Management Instrumentation
have it
no right click on it and select START
and double click on it and set STARTUP TYPE to AUTOMATIC
DONE
now try to enable firewall and tell me the result
cannot start eror1068
restart computer and then try to enable it
ok will lose you
