I have a samsung notebook np-n130...the problem I have is getting

I have a samsung notebook np-n130...the problem I have is getting online/internet access through a wirleless router...it reconizes our work network showing signal strength as excellent but no internet access and by the way my computer is part of the work network

Does the Internet work if you connect a network cable directly from the samsung notebook to the router?

Viet - Computer Tech :

Please go to Start->Control Panel->Internet Options. Then click on the Connections tab, then click on LAN Settings. Then make sure all boxes are unchecked.

Then click OK, OK.

Viet - Computer Tech :

Can you also change to Home network (instead of Work network)?

i just hooked up to the router directly and was able to get on line...all boxes are unchecked...already tried labeling home network and others too

by using a paper clip and press in the tiny hole of the router, for about 30 seconds.

Can you uninstall the wireless driver from Device Manager?

Ok, after uninstalling the wireless item from Device Manager. Then restart the computer and try to connect wireless again.

If that still does not work, can you try to connect this notebook to the Internet at another place (besides your home Internet) to confirm whether the wireless hardware is bad or not.

Can you also try with a USB wireless adapter?

now i have no wireless capablilies at all after uninstalling drivers...have had the coputer elsewhere and still could not get on...have not gone to usb adapter...the reason i bought the computer was for its wireless capabilities

Wireless LAN,REALTEK (Driver) (ver.2000.4.0201.2010)
Wireless LAN,ATHEROS (Driver) (ver.8.0.0.279)

After verifying, then you can request warranty service from Samsung.

i'll do that again...have done so in the past went to mcdonalds parking lot got on one time the next time could not access went to hotel parking lot got on one time unable to do the next time...after attempt today probably need to take it in
