I am unable to print anything. I get PDL Request 016-720 Data Violation on my Dell 2130CN printer

Hello and thanks for using JustAnswer. I will be happy to assist you with this.

Please go to Control Panel > Printers > right click on the Dell Printer giving this error > Select Properties

Go to the Advanced tab and click the radio button next to Print directly to the printer, and then click OK out of those windows. Attempt to print again and let me know what happens - thanks.

I have done this it did not work. I read this soultion from the internet.

I have been working on this for hours. If you do not know the solution please don't waste my time. This is very frustrating.

Do you have another USB printer cable that you could use?

There aren't many possible solutions for this.

If it is still not working, you will most likely need to get a different USB printer cable as there is an issue with the data transmission. You can also try to reinstall the drivers or download the most updated ones direct from Dell's support site.
