Omer Mushahwar :

Omer Mushahwar :

Do you happen to know how many songs are on your ipod

Customer:

Yes

Omer Mushahwar :

please try this
Go to organize folder options
Click on the view tab again make sure the show hidden folders is selected
this time click apply to all folders on the top

Apply button does not let me click as it is not highlighted

Omer Mushahwar :

Ok now close the ipod folder

and then click on my computer and open it again

Omer Mushahwar :

tell me know if you have any new folders there

Customer:

When i clicked on the itunes folder all of my music showed on the screen

Omer Mushahwar :

Ok the itunes folder under your ipod?

Customer:

Yes

Omer Mushahwar :

is it the actual music files?

Customer:

Yes

Omer Mushahwar :

Ok that is what we are looking for sorry on most of the ipods you have to go into an Ipod controls folder to get to the music files

Omer Mushahwar :

Make a folder on your desktop and you will want to copy all the music files into this folder

Omer Mushahwar :

Once you have all your files copied their you will open itunes

Customer:

Ok

Omer Mushahwar :

in itunes you will say to add a folder and it will reimport all the music files

Customer:

Ok

Customer:

Great

Omer Mushahwar :

Please let me know once you have completed this and if you have any questions

Customer:

Thanks i will take it from here
