Are the dots on every program or only when you open the internet?

Yes, excatly--when I turn the computer on the screen is solid red with the Toshiba

ensigna.

Expert:  Freddy M. replied 6 years ago.
Ok thank you that problem is caused by your inverter. It could either be loose or it could be failing and need to be replaced. If it is loose you can normally push it back into place by squeezing the two bottom corners of the screen right below the actualy display. Unfortunately when that does not work the inverter needs to be replaced. It is a pretty cheap part that sits behind the screen.

Pushing on corners of screen did not fix problem. I am not going to pay at this

point.

Expert:  Freddy M. replied 6 years ago.
As I mentioned if that did not work it means your inverter has failed and needs to be replaced. When it fails completely you will end up seeing nothing on your screen at all. I have gioven you all the information I can on this problem as well as what is wrong and how to fix it. There is nothing else I could have given you.
