Please try the following so you do not receive this error:
Go to Start>
Go to Settings
Control panel
Click internet options
Click the advanced tab
Go down to browsing
Add check to Disable script debugging (Internet)
Add check to Disable script debugging ( Other)

Alright, go back to Internet Option (Right click on the Internet Explorer icon and go to properties)

Go to the Advanced tab>

Click Restore advanced settings>

Then click Reset>

Click Apply and then OK>

Try and get your yahoo mail.

But let's go through this again though, just to be safe.

1. Right click on the Internet Explorer icon
2. Select Properties
3. A box will open,
4. Go to the Last tab, it will say Advanced
5. In the middle where you can click on different items, make sure that you

Add a check to Disable script debugging (Internet)
Add a check to Disable script debugging ( Other)

6. Once that is completed, at the bottom of the box, click Apply.
7. Click OK

8. Restart Internet Explorer and see if it runs correctly.

There is no other in debudding, we tried this a number of times and it will not open yahoo email.

Alright, Yahoo may be having a serverside issue, (that's what is means by client side). I would try and reboot your computer and see if that mitigates the issue. If not, they may just be having issues on their end.

Let's try another thing:

Go to Start, then Run (or press the Windows key and R on the keyboard)

In the box, type msconfig

When the new window appears, go to the Startup tab and search for MDM and unselect it.

Click Apply, and then OK.

Reboot the computer, see if you can get to the web site.

Alright I did some more research on this issue, it appears someone in my work place is having the same issue. You can access your Yahoo mail in a bare bones fashion by going here: http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://de.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://uk.m.yahoo.com/p/mail

This issue should be cleared up in a few days and you should be able to access yahoo mail like you normally would.

Also, you may want to give this a try as well:

Clear your browers cache:

Open Internet Explorer.

Once your browser is open, click the Tools menu. Or, optionally you may simply press Ctrl-Shift-Delete to open the Delete Browsing History window

Click on Delete Browsing History...

Select "Temporary Internet Files".

Click the Delete button near the bottom of the window to delete your temporary files (i.e. clear your cache).

If you want the browser to automatically clear the cache whenever you close it, click the Advanced tab. Click to check the box next to the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option (in the section labeled "Security"). Click OK. This will delete everything except cookies.

Alright if you have tried all the above, let's try one more thing:

Open Internet Explorer back up.

Click on "Tools" in the menu bar of Internet Explorer to expand the tools menu, then click on "Internet Options."

 

  • Step 2

    Click on "Advanced" to switch to the advanced options tab.

  • Step 3

    Scroll down until you see "Java (Sun)," and check the box for "enable JRE" as shown in the picture.

  • Step 4

    Click "OK" to save this change, and close the options menu.

  • Step 5

    Restart your browser for the changes to take effect.
