Hi - thank you for that information. It is possible that Norton is interfering with the normal function of your e-mail software. Please perform the following steps and then after you have, close Windows Live Mail and open it back up and let me know if that problem still exists:

1. Open the Norton 360 main window.
2. Select the "Virus & Spyware Protection" link.
3. Make sure there is a check in the box next to "Turn on Auto-Protect."
4. Take the check out of the box next to "Turn on Email Check."
5. Click on the "Back" and then "Close" buttons at the bottom of the window.

i have removed the Norton 360 completly and still doesnt work. Still the same error message.

I'm not sure about that. Can you please close it out and open it back up (without right-clicking) and see if it gives the same error?

error message has changed to 0x800co155 (no .2 at the end)
