Hello,

Can you try booting your computer into safe mode and testing to see if a possible program, virus, malware, etc. is causing this. You could also try disconnecting and reconnecting your mouse if its an external mouse to see if it clears it up. To boot into safe mode keep pressing your F8 key after powering on your computer until an advanced menu opens up.

Select "safe mode". If your mouse cursor works normally in safe mode then there is one of the above causing your problem.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I tried disconnecting the mouse, using a different mouse both did not work. I'm working with a laptop and the problem is still there even working with the touch pad

I'll try rebooting in safe mode. Hope you'll be here when I finish the scan.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I do not have the problem with the disappearing mouse in safe mode, although I could not go online and check it in the browser window. I ran a VAIO Hardware Diagnostics (please see attached report). Now I'm running scan for viruses, malware etc ,,,, with Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

Hi,

First click on Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore and restore your computer to the date the cursor was working fine.

If it does not work, please go to your computer manufacturer's website and download and install the latest drivers: BIOS and video.

Thanks,
-Viet

Well I did system restore to an earlier point and now my laptop is a complete cheos, my internet propection progrem is not working, tried to unintall it, reinstall it, repair it, I could not. The reports in my sage accounting program are affected as well. So I've made an appointment with a local computer specialist to fix it.
I realy hoped you would help me out but now I ended up with a bigger problem.
