how do i change the text size back on my acer laptop, i changed

how do i change the text size back on my acer laptop, i changed it once now all the text is too big and i cant bring up any screens cuz text is too large?

To change your font sizw


1.

Right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.

In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.

Drag the Screen resolution slider to the left to decrease the resolution of your monitor, making text and pictures appear larger. Or drag the Screen resolution slider to the right to increase your monitor's resolution, making text and pictures appear smaller.

Click Apply to have the new resolution take effect.

If the Monitor Settings dialog box appears, look at your display. If you like the new resolution, click Yes. If you do not like the resolution, click No, and return to step 3 to try a different resolution.

Click OK.

Microsoft Windows XP changes the resolution to the settings you chose.

i tried that and a settings tab does not come up

i cannot even see the start menu at the bottom left corner the text is too large

ive done that and cannot get the screen to change the text size back because the screen is too large

Click on settings -> advanced -> DPI settings change to normal size..and try.

If is only problem with browsers

try this key combination's

CTRL + Plus (+) symbol increasing

CTRL + minus (-) symbol decreasing

If these both are not working then..

Do a system restore will make your system as ealier time..

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. System Restore starts.
  2. On the Welcome to System Restore page, click Restore my computer to an earlier time (if it is not already selected), and then click Next.
  3. On the Select a Restore Point page, click the most recent system restore point in the On this list, click a restore point list, and then click Next.

    Note Select the date in which system display is working fine. Click OK.
  4. On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next. System Restore restores the previous Windows XP configuration, and then restarts the computer.
  5. Log on to the computer as Administrator. The System Restore Restoration Complete page is displayed.
  6. Click OK
