(if F2 wont work try Delete key)
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I tried the F2 on reboot, and then the delete key while rebooting neither one worked I still get the same message BIOS revision A01.
Expert:  Satchi replied 7 years ago.
please try again to enter BIOS setup

just after restart press F1 or F2 or Delete
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
No F1, F2, Del none of them work. I've evn tried different keyboards so it's not the keyboard.

Okay

Open the machine cover and disconnect the Hard disk and then power ON

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I tried disconnecting the hard drive, no change, I even tried a different hard drive, and different monitors I still get the same message on the monitor even with all the different things i've tried. I'm back now withe the original hard drive and original monitor and I still get the same message immeditaly upon startup. Very frustrating.

On the mother board

3 volt round shaped battery like watch battery
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I found it. Took it out for 20 seconds replaced it and rebooted. Still getting exactly the same thing.

I disconnected hard drive, cd drive , floopy drive and wireless PCI card. I rebooted without reconnecting anything. I do now get the messsage to F2 to run setup utility
Expert:  Satchi replied 7 years ago.
Okay

now connect only hard disk and restart
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
With just hard drive connected, inow get the same message as with none connected. F1 to continue or F2 for setup.
Expert:  Satchi replied 7 years ago.
okay press F1

keep in mind hard disk, key board, mouse must be connected
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Right that's what is connected. My keyboard , mouse and hard drive are connected. The message is diskette drive failure and secondary drive not found, which makes sense since neither is connected. Then F1 to continue or F2 to run setup utility
Expert:  Satchi replied 7 years ago.
Why secondary drive not found as it is hard disk ? pls connect hard disk properly
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
No the secondary drive it's referring to is the CD rom drive which is disconnected along with the floppy drive. The hard drive is connected and recognized.
Expert:  Satchi replied 7 years ago.
