how do I reboot my asus netbook with no cd drive, im pressing

Resolved Question:

how do I reboot my asus netbook with no cd drive, im pressing f2 or f3 and nothing is happing. I need to get to that blue screen to reboot right?

Hello, please try this to do a Factory Reset.

 

 

  • Start your Netbook and press the F9 key on your keyboard until you see a loading screen.
  • The restoration program prepares the files needed for the operation.
  • A message appears asking if you want to perform the operation, you will lose all files on your machine.
  • Confirm by clicking √.
  • The restore process is done automatically , without any human intervention.
  • At the end of the restoration, the machine will reboot on its own, and make configurations.
  • A restart is performed again, and you're on the setup process of Windows , same as the first boot after buying the Netbook.

    If you cant get the F9 to work, then you will have to purchase an external dvd/cd-rom drive (check ebay for the best deals) and hopefully you have those recovery disc to restore it. If not, you will need to purchase these.
