I dont know whats wrong with my computer! Its slow, IE8

I don't know what's wrong with my computer! It's slow, IE8 constantly has to close, and videos are choppy when playing (if they play). I have vista on a 6 month old compaq presario. Is there any site out there that can scan my computer and fix it for me for free?

I would like to assist you regarding this issue.

Open the run box. (to open run box press ** Windows key + R)

** Windows key lies between Alt & Ctrl button



hit ENTER.

It should open the System Configuration Utility window.

Click on Services tab.

Put a check in the Hide all Microsoft services checkbox.

Click on Disable All button.

Click on Startup tab. Checkmark all the entries and then click on Disable All button.

Press OK button and then Restart button on the following window.

Let the computer restart.

Once you're back on the desktop, you'd get a window for System Configuration Utility. Put a check in the box Don't Show.... and then press OK button.

it's super slow now, ie8 keeps shutting down worse, every site is asking for my approval on allowing cookies over and over, ie8 and wont stay very long at all! Some videos would play, the avg security is off! Now what do I do?

please download & install Firefox from the link mentioned below.

Install it. Firefox is a web browser like Internet explorer.

You can do all the things with firefox that you do with internet exploer.

But it is more secure, much faster & easy to use than IE. Try it.

It said extraction failed file corrupt! Oh ! I forgot to tell you that a couple of hours ago I accidentally deleted the esu for vista !
