I keep getting a code 43 error for my Maxtor OneTouch Plus drive in Windows7. The Maxtor troubleshooting guide's only suggestion is to plug the drive into the USB ports in the back of the computer. It already IS plugged into the back of the computer. I have all of my documents, pictures, video, and music on the hard drive because I moved everything to it right before I purchased my new computer with Windows 7. What can I do to get it to work?
Optional Information: Computer OS: Windows 7Browser: IE Already Tried: I scoured the Seagate Technical Support website, looking for help. I've tried to use the "troubleshoot" option in Device manager. Aside from that, I can't do much because I can't access the device.
Good Evening,What version of Win7 do you have 32 or 64 bit?
Maxtor has not released a driver for Win7 64 bit which causes error you are getting.
