How do I completley remove Snapfish from my computer? I canceled about five months ago and I can't send photos through HP Photo Premier without Snapfish popping up? I can't share my photo because of this, always requesting membership from my recipents. I can't get support help from Snapfish since I no longer have an account. HELP!
Optional Information: Computer OS: Windows XPBrowser: AOL Already Tried: Contacting Snapfish by phone. Wait was too long.
HiCustomer Please try these:- Go to Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs. Remove any Snapfish item in there.- Click on Start->Programs->Startup, and right-click on any Snapfish item in there and Delete it.- Click on Start->Run... and type in msconfig, and click OK. Then click on the Startup tab on the top. Then uncheck any Snapfish item there, and click Apply and OK.Reboot the system. Let me know if it's work or not.Thanks,-Viet

Viet, I tried yuour suggestions several times to no avail. Snapfish is no longer on my program to remove. But somehow it attaches itself back to my HP Premier photo program when i try to share my photos. Snapfish has been canceled and is no longer ujnder programs. I will try your third suggestion and see if that works.

Viet, None worked. It's weird, Snapfish is still attached to my HP Photosmart Premier program even though I have canceled. It comes up under my HP Admiinstrater Startup, but is not found under my programs. I can get it to popup with its ad to join But since i canceled I can't go to their help section. There is a 800 number which I will try tomorow, I tried a few days ago but got impatient being on hold. Any other isugestions. .?

There's one more advanced method. Download and install it this program.http://download.cnet.com/Trend-Micro-HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html?tag=mncolClose all programs. Then run installed program and click on Do a system scan and save a logfile. Check all the boxes on the left to all items you see with Snapfish in it. Then click on Fixed checked. Then reboot system. I think that's it. If it still does not work, please contact Snapfish tomorrow.
Send me the log file if Snapfish is still there.
I don't know how I would go about doing that. What is the log file. I am in the progress of calling Snapfish in a few minutes. Hopefully, I won't be kept on hold very long. after I get this resolved I need to get back to you guys regarding another proplem question regarding an error about "SMPT".and maybe not entering the server name correctly. Try another way: After installing the software I mentioned, run the HijackThis program. This time, click on the Do a system scan only. Then at the bottom, click on Save log . Then send me that log file. Thanks.
What software did you mention? I don't have any Hijack This program? How about we we give up on my Snapfish problem. Snapfiish wasn't able to help me and they referred me to HP's syupport Center whis is busy at this time. they will give me instructions on how to remove the inactive program from my computer. I have another proplem that needs to be resolved. Can you help me on that?
