Please download the newest Windows Vista drivers for your HP Photosmart C5550 printer.

Please follow the directions:

1. Turn off your printer and unplug the USB cable from the computer

2. Download the new driver here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-61479-4&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&product=3577718

And click on the "Download only" button (this can take a while because the file size is 133Mb)

When the download is over please run the file

3. After the new driver is installed please restart your computer

4. Turn on your printer and plug in the USB cable to another available USB port in your computer

1- Do you get any error message ?

2- Also go to Start, Devices and Printers, double click your printer, and let me know if you have stuck printing jobs there.

Printer in memory is HP 5500 I can't change it to HP Photosmart C5550

Delete the HP 5500 first, then restart the computer, and then follow my previos solution (steps 1 to 4) again.
