What is the make and model of the computer? If added a burner drive what is the make and model of that drive?

LAst but not least can you burn a cd with it?

I'm not at home but it is an HP laptop about 3 yrs old. It came with the burner and software. I have already copied Powerpoint, DVD Moviemaker movies and slides, so I know the burner is fine. Should I just call Costco and see if their DVDs are protected against copying (which the clerk had told me last year were not)?

IT is not an issue of that. There are a lot of things that can do this.

1. Make sure the copy speed is slow

2. Make sure error checking is turned off

3. There are DVD's that just are not good for copy

Are you making a copy of a copy?
