Hello, and welcome To Just Answer!

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am here to help..

Turn the computer off, now start it, tap f 8 repeatedly, choose last known good configuration first..

If that doesn't work, do the process over, and this time choose safe mode..

Let me know if either can get you up and running..

If they do, you should try to do a system restore ( it wont erase files)

to do so, go to start menu, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.

Now try to choose a date that was before the computer started having issues..

Ok, since you have no repair disk, you have three options..

Purchase, or borrow a windows vista install disk..

Use the built in function to completely reinstall windows ( wipes out all personal files)

Download and create a vista repair disk from the link below. ( free )

What would you like to do?

My apologies for the delay,,

To do a factory restore, restart the computer, when it first starts to turn on , start tapping f10 repeatedly.. this should bring you to a menu that will walk you through reinstalling windows..

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

No menu...edit boot option. Noexecute=option.came up
Expert:  Dustin replied 6 years ago.
Ok, restart, and press f2 at the beginning to access the bios menu.. Go through each menu until you see one that says d2d recovery, make sure its enabled, and then save settings and exit..

then try the f10 method again..
