Hi,

Also please do this on your laptop :

1. Shutdown and Unplug your laptop.
2. Remove the battery from the laptop.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes
4. Now press ON (power button on laptop) for 1 minute
5. Then release the finger and wait one more minute.
6. Now plug in the power cable (dont insert battery yet) and press ON button.
7. Windows should load.

Do you see any change.

Completed the steps you suggested, no change. Am now utilizing laptop with mouse rather than touch pad

Sorry for the delay.

Does your keyboard on the laptop works fine ?

Press Fn (keep pressed) and press F9 once. Then see if touchpad works. This sequence toggles the Touch Pad function. (try it few times)
