Resolved Question:

I have an HP Officejet 7410 All-In-One.
I cannot figure out how to scan a document to a PDF file.
When I select "save to file" it always goes to a picture destination.
I have Microsoft Windows XP 2002.
I have to have the PDF function for my work.
Thanks

As you can see......I had tried everything and just couldn't find the pdf feature.

Now we know why this has been so frustrating.

Is there any other tips once this upgrade is installed so I can print to pdf?

Expert:  Jerry Hannell replied 4 years ago.

hi again,

new hp solution center is very easy.

it will put a shortcut (icon) on your start button. so you will be able to open your hp solution center from there.

when you open it, just click on SCAN PICTURE and then it will load the same display as you saw a while ago. BUT, this time, after SCAN TO, there will be an additional option which says FILE TYPE. this section includes JPG, PDF and TXT. just select the PDF to save as PDF

anyway, i will be here anytime. if you have trouble, i will help you again.
