Every time I try to sync my iPod iTunes tells me my computer isn’t authorized and asks would I like to authorize. Every time I say yes and press the ‘authorize now’ button. And every time iTunes tells me that my computer is already authorized and then tells me if I don’t sync my iPod I’m going to lose almost a 100+ songs off my iPod. How do I get past this problem?
Computer OS: Windows XPBrowser: IE Already Tried: The 5 R's - reset, retry, restart, reinstall, restore
HiCustomer Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer. Yoiu can only register(authorize) one PC at a time. So make sure that you do not have any other PC registered. If not:
I have deauthorized and authorized but that does not work.
HiCustomer Follow other steps I provided. If still no Joy, uninstall and reinstall iTunes
I apologize for not providing more information with my reply. I did try all your recommendations and I have re-installed I tunes. I still have the problem. I did not select the uninstall option for Itunes. I selected the repair or re-install option. My Ipod did get synced without about 120 less songs then what I have in Itunes.
So if you have got ipod synced so issue is resolved.
No the IPOD does not have all of teh songs I have in ITUNES. I lost about 120 songs that had been on teh IPOD.
I'm sorry but you haven't provided me any information I coudl not find on my own.
