Get message across device that says Print error 0x61011bed. How can I fix this problem?

What is the make and model of the printer?

Does this error happen when printing from any application?

hp officejet 6500 E709n

was using devise to copy a few pages when I got the error message and it has not worked since.

I was just trying to copy.

Ok then next, unplug the USB cable from the printer. Then remove the ink cartridges and when the Insert Cartridges message is displayed, unplug the printer power and wait for a couple minutes then plug the power back in. After power up plug the cartridges back in and then let the printer calibrate and then connect the USB cable again and then try a copy test.

Did not work. Still have same error message and it did not print my document. This prionter is only a week old!

Ok then next unplug the power cord from the printer and wait 1 minute then press and hold down the # and 3 buttons and plug in the power cord to the printer at the same time. Then release the buttons and then when startup completes try a copy test again.

That last procedure was a reset to factory defaults. If it still does not work when you unplug the USB and try a copy then I recommend you take the printer back since you have had it for only a week and swap it out for another printer.

Ok so if your settings were still in the printer then the reset did not take. Please try the reset again, and this time hold down the # and 3 buttons before releasing.

Still no luck. Have tried several times. Does not reset, although I have held down the # XXXXX 3 until after printer turned back on. I guess we have no choice but to return it. Thanks.
