I want to load the Windows XP version of Freecell on my new computer which has Vista installed. (My wife prefers the XP version over the Vista version of Freecell)
Is there a way to either download the XP version of Freecell or transfer it from my laptop which has Windows XP ?
Hi,

Please try the following:

Goto a computer running windows XP.

Search and copy these five files onto a CD or thumb drive:

CARDS.DLL
FREECELL.CHM
FREECELL.chw
FREECELL.EXE
FREECELL.HLP

The location of the files are as follows:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
FREECELL.EXE and CARDS.DLL

C:\WINDOWS\Help
FREECELL.CHM and FREECELL.chw and FREECELL.HLP

Copy these five files into the PC running Vista.

Make a new folder and then copy these files to that folder.

Make a shortcut to FREECELL.EXE and put in on your desktop.

I hope this will help, if not let me know

Thanks
