Now, do this...

4) Click System Tools
5) Click System Restore
Now, please go back to a date when everythingn was working ok but not yesterday to be safe. Go back like 2-4days or something.
Here is a guide as well...
BEST OF LUCK!
Hi thanks for your reply.
I got as far as step 5, clicked the administrator icon, it briefly says loading settings and then almost straight away says saving settings and will not allow me any further. I can't get past the welcome screen, I can't even get as far as the start menu.
See if you can get the task manager up
CTRL+ALT+DEL and if you get your task manager up, click on File, type explorer.exe and press enter and that should force the desktop up.
Im afraid CTRL+ALT+DEL will not open task manager
Any other suggestions?
No, im sorry i dont, but let me opt out to see if any other experts can assist you!
Hope everything works out!
Ok thanks for your help so far.
I will await reply from someone else.
Hi, can anyone help me with this please? Not heard anything for 24 hours now after the previous expert decided to opt out as he was unable to help, although he did try.
